Nuevo kayak P&H de polietileno modelo SCORPIO,

Buenas,alguien tiene información sobre este modelo nuevo de polietileno???
Parece ser que es el mismo molde del CETUS.

Hello there all of you,

Well, It's gotten to our favourite time of year once again. Christmas is just a few days away and we've just had some mince pies be passed around. We find christmas is the perfect time to reflect on all those great paddles throughout the year!

Here at the P&H factory its cold and very busy, with pretty much full order books and lots of exciting new projects.

2008 will be the year of the Scorpio and Cetus LV. The Scorpio is the polyethylene version of the already highly regarded Cetus (we now have three moulds of the Cetus in operation to try to keep up with the demand!) and the Cetus LV so things are already set to be busy for the start of the New Year. We put up some pictures once there is no more turkey to put in our sandwiches.

 We would like to say a big public thanks to everyone who has been in touch with us this year, it’s been fantastic hearing your stories of trips and expeditions as well as feedback on the boats and seeing all your pictures too! Please keep sending stuff to us and posting them on the internet.

Well, we're all off for a well earnt holiday, be safe and enjoy your time with family and friends. From all the staff and paddlers at P&H have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, See you in 2008!

Pues igual pesa menos el de polietileno que el de fibra.....que cuando lo levanté casi me quedo doblado.
Aunque tambien igual es mas duro el de fibra que el de polietileno.....no es por hacer la pelota pero he visto funruns con este tipo de fabricacion,donde predomina una construccion dura y consistente en contra de una mas ligera y debil.......aunque supongo que en el caso de funrun podras pedir diferentes tipos de construccion.......a ver si Javier nos comenta algo sobre esto.

Las posibilidades de construcción que ofrecen las fibras y resinas son muy, muy amplias.
Tan solido o tan ligero como se quiera. En una ocasion fabrique una kayak RR de descenso de 450 cm que pesaba tan solo 4,8 kilos, a base de kevlar y epoxy. Eso sí transportarlo en el coche era delicado.

Muchísimas gracias a los tres,seguiré investigando, es un kayak que me puede encajar,de todas maneras también no descarto otras opciones como VALLEY etc.
Si descubro más información estaré encantado de publicarlo y podremos sacar más conclusiones,
